We deploy our IT solutions on Free BSD because of it's advanced networking, impressive security features, and world class performance. Version 7.2 has integrated the ULE Scheduler in it's kernel, which offers best performance in multiprocessor environments , as well as interactive response under heavy load. This makes BSD the most powerfull Open Source OS at the moment. Free BSD has also another powerfull and important tool: jail mechanism - operating system-level virtualization which allows separate virtual server for each of our customers, while keeping the possibility to use all system resources by just one of them. Our competitors often use predefined system resources for each of their clients which leads to overloaded virtual machines while the phisical server has the most of it's resources idle. Our experience shows that system with 4 different customers ( virtual machines ) happen to have two different virtual servers working at load at the same time in no more than 3% of the time. This way we manage to offer our clients whole server at 97% of the time at the price of standart virtual server.
